Therapy can be a powerful tool for not only alleviating suffering but also discovering ways to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life. My goal is to work together with you to identify the barriers to that life and help you in making meaningful, lasting change. Drawing from evidence-based approaches, I aim to bring an authentic, compassionate, and adaptable approach to treatment. I enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds and am committed to creating a safe and supportive space for exploration and growth.

I specialize in providing individual treatment for adults who may be experiencing a variety of concerns, including depression/low mood, excessive worry, anxiety, panic, OCD, phobias, PTSD and trauma related difficulties, emotion dysregulation, somatic symptoms, relationship difficulties, and stress related to daily living. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), and integrate these approaches as appropriate. I offer treatment in-person or virtually.

I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of British Columbia and completed my pre-doctoral residency at the CPA-accredited Halifax Clinical Psychology Residency program. In my rotations, I provided services at the Borderline Personality Disorder Treatment Program, Medically Unexplained Symptoms Clinic, and at a Nova Scotia Health Community Mental Health and Addictions clinic. I am currently a Candidate Register in Nova Scotia with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (NSBEP).
